Endpoint Engineer

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

* Endpoint Device Management: Administer and optimize Intune (Microsoft) and Kandji (Apple) across the full device fleet

* Microsoft 365 Optimization: Manage and optimize the M365 environment including licensing, policies, and platform governance

* Collaboration Platform Administration: Administer Box, Slack, and Zoom environments

* Automation \& Tooling: Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation initiatives to reduce manual workload

* Documentation: Create and maintain runbooks, standard operating procedures, and architecture documentation; close gaps left by legacy Managed Service Provider environments

* Platform Governance: Mature operational processes and platform governance

* After-Hours Support: Participate in after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage rotation to reduce burden on internal engineers

* Onboarding \& Standards: Establish and enforce endpoint build standards and configuration baselines

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Minimum 7 years of practical, hands-on experience supporting and administering enterprise endpoints, including endpoint management, desktop engineering, technical support, device provisioning, software deployment, patch management, and workplace technology services

* Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and -preferably- Kandji MDM platforms

* Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and optimization

* Working knowledge in Cisco Meraki and foundational networking concepts

* Experience with collaboration tools: Box, Slack, Zoom, Jira

* Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation

* Experience creating technical documentation and runbooks

* Ability to work independently as an embedded team member

* Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)

* Ability to travel to the United States approximately 10% of the time

* Knowledge of AI capabilities and practical business applications is a plus
