Senior Software Packager – SCCM / Intune

Job description

You will work in a highly technical enterprise environment, **creating software packages from scratch** and ensuring **quality, traceability, compatibility, and compliance** with internal standards.

The role involves close collaboration with technical and business teams, as well as hands-on work with **packaging technologies, scripting, software distribution platforms, and automation**.

If you have strong experience with **MSI, MSIX, Intunewin, SCCM, Intune, PowerShell, PSADT**, and enterprise software packaging, this could be a great fit.

💻 What you'll do

🔹 Manage **software packaging requests end-to-end**: registration, analysis, package creation, testing, delivery, deployment, and post-implementation support

🔹 **Create, customise, and maintain software packages from scratch** using technologies such as **MSI, MSIX, Intunewin**, and similar

🔹 Use packaging and troubleshooting tools such as **Orca**

🔹 Manage software distribution and deployment to corporate devices using **Microsoft SCCM and Intune**

🔹 Develop and maintain **automation scripts** using **PowerShell, PSADT, Ansible**, or similar technologies

🔹 Analyse packaging requirements and define the most appropriate **technical solution**

🔹 Test packages across **enterprise environments** and ensure compatibility with corporate standards

🔹 Troubleshoot complex packaging and deployment issues and provide **Level 3 support**

🔹 Coordinate with **IT teams, business stakeholders, and internal customers** to prioritise and manage multiple requests

🔹 Document packaging processes, technical solutions, incidents, and troubleshooting procedures

🔹 Monitor **SLAs** and provide regular reporting on packaging requests and incidents

🔹 Identify opportunities to improve and **automate packaging workflows**

🔹 Participate in cross-functional projects related to **Application Delivery** and software distribution

💡 Must Have

🔹 **5+ years of experience** in **Software Packaging / Application Packaging** within enterprise environments

🔹 Strong hands-on experience **creating software packages from scratch**, not only modifying existing templates

🔹 Advanced knowledge of **MSI, MSIX, Intunewin**, or similar packaging formats

🔹 Experience with packaging tools such as **Orca**

🔹 Strong experience with **Microsoft SCCM and Intune** for software distribution and deployment

🔹 Strong scripting skills, particularly **PowerShell and PSADT**

🔹 Experience with **Ansible** or similar automation technologies

🔹 Solid understanding of the **complete software packaging lifecycle**, from request analysis through deployment and post-production support

🔹 Experience troubleshooting complex **packaging and deployment issues**

🔹 Experience working with **Agile, ITIL**, or similar service management methodologies

🔹 Strong **communication skills** and ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders

🔹 Ability to manage **multiple packaging requests and priorities simultaneously**

🔹 **Customer-oriented mindset** and strong focus on **continuous improvement**

🔹 **Fluent English** , ideally **C1 level or above**

🔹 Professional working proficiency in **Spanish**
