Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support enterprise Windows Server and Azure infrastructure solutions.Serve as the senior escalation point for complex Windows, Active Directory, Azure, and infrastructure issues.Lead platform modernization, automation, and cloud transformation initiatives.Manage and maintain Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, identity services, and access controls.Support Azure governance, security, monitoring, cost optimization, and Zero Trust initiatives.Develop and maintain automation, Infrastructure-as-Code solutions, and operational standards.Design and support PKI and Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) environments.Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to Windows administrators and engineering teams.Create architecture documentation, SOPs, diagrams, and implementation standards.Support change management, incident resolution, ServiceNow requests, and infrastructure projects.Ensure compliance with federal security requirements and operational best practices.Participate in customer briefings, technical reviews, and infrastructure planning activities.
Required Skills
8+ years of Windows Systems Administration, Engineering, or Infrastructure experience.6+ years of cloud engineering or Azure infrastructure experience.3+ years of experience serving in a senior or lead engineering role with architecture ownership.Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory.Experience supporting hybrid cloud and enterprise Windows environments.Knowledge of Azure governance, Zero Trust, RBAC, SSO, and federated identity solutions.Experience with PowerShell and infrastructure automation.Knowledge of PKI and Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS).Experience with Windows Server 2019, 2022, and enterprise infrastructure administration.Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, VPNs, load balancers, and cloud networking.Experience with security hardening, vulnerability management, and federal compliance standards.Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience with ServiceNow and ITIL-based processes.Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).Security+, SSCP, GSEC, or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 certification.U.S. Citizenship required.Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD automation.Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar orchestration tools.Experience supporting federal government environments.Knowledge of NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, CIS, and STIG compliance requirements.Additional Azure, Microsoft, Infrastructure, or Security certifications.Experience with cloud modernization and enterprise transformation initiatives.Advanced experience with Visio, architecture diagrams, and technical design documentation.
