Job description
The EUC role is critical to maintaining end-user productivity and service continuity, asset readiness, and secure device operations, maintaining response quality, and ensure uninterrupted onsite and remote EUC coverage.
Business Need: The role currently supports a broad range of operational activities, including, but not limited to, device management, software support, issue resolution, security readiness, asset dispatching, vendor coordination, hardware lifecycle support, and onsite walk-in assistance.
Job Responsibilities
Device and Asset Management: Configure, maintain, and track laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and related assets to ensure end users have reliable equipment available for daily operations.Software Support: Install, update, and troubleshoot user applications to ensure they remain secure, functional, and available for business use.End-User Support: Resolve user issues related to devices, applications, connectivity, and access while providing guidance that helps users remain productive.Security and Access Readiness: Support secure device configurations, antivirus protection, encryption, and identity or access management activities as required.AE Enrollment and Asset Dispatch: Configure and manually dispatch laptops and peripherals in a timely and effective manner to support onboarding and operational readiness.Vendor Coordination and Escalation: Coordinate with vendors such as Microsoft, Apple, Dell, FedEx and LaSalle Network for product support, issue escalation, and resolution follow-up.Collaboration Tools Support: Supporting and managing communication and collaboration tools (like email, video conferencing, chat, etc.) to ensure smooth user experiences.Hardware Lifecycle Management: Overseeing the lifecycle of end-user hardware, including purchasing, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.Remote Work Support: Supporting remote work setups, ensuring that users have secure and reliable access to organizational systems and resources from outside the office.Onsite Support: Provide walk-in support for end users experiencing system, peripheral, or network-related issues at the bswift location.Team Coordination: Remain available for on-call support and coordinate with other team members as needed to maintain coverage and resolve issues efficiently.Testing and Change Readiness: Test Windows and Apple updates, security-relatedmodifications, and change implementations in a test environment before production rollout.Continuous Improvement: Staying updated with new technology trends and looking for opportunities to improve end-user experience and workflows with technology.
