Job description
The focus is on writing PowerShell and building repeatable deployment processes, not general infrastructure administration
.
Must-Have (Hands-on, Demonstrable)
PowerShell scripting as a primary daily skill: functions/modules, file, process, service and log handling, error handling (try/catch), logging, reporting
Software/application packaging and deployment: MSI/EXE repackaging, silent installs, detection logic, and tools such as PSADT, SCCM/MECM, Intune, or MDT
Windows imaging and post-image validation: DISM, WinPE, bootable media
Boot troubleshooting: BCD, bcdedit, bootrec, boot records
Strong Windows administration fundamentals
Responsibilities
Write, maintain, and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts for deployment, validation, and reporting
Package and prepare applications and components for deployment
Support image prep and post-image checks (OS config, services, updates, app verification)
Build and use WinPE media for deployment and recovery
Diagnose boot and startup failures
Review deployment logs, find failure patterns, and summarize findings
Follow change controls and runbooks, and document procedures
Preferred
Endpoint provisioning or OS deployment experience
Drivers, updates, and deployment log familiarityATM, kiosk, or specialized endpoint exposure
