Job description
Design and implement endpoint security infrastructure for Capital One's systems and networks.
Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards for endpoint security.
Monitor and analyze endpoint security logs and alerts, and take appropriate action to prevent and mitigate potential security threats.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure endpoint security is integrated into all aspects of the organization.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to continuously improve Capital One's endpoint security posture.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address any potential weaknesses in the endpoint security infrastructure.
Work closely with other security teams to ensure a cohesive and effective overall security strategy.
Respond to and remediate any endpoint security incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
Train and educate other team members on endpoint security best practices and procedures.
Communicate and report on endpoint security status and updates to relevant stakeholders and leadership.
Participate in security audits and compliance assessments as required.
Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance endpoint security capabilities.
Provide guidance and support to other teams and departments on endpoint security-related matters.
Act as a subject matter expert for endpoint security and represent Capital One in external forums and events.
Maintain documentation and records related to endpoint security activities and procedures.
