Job description
Responsibilities
Manage the MECM environment following Microsoft best practices and agency policies.Package and deploy Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and other agency software.Deploy Microsoft, Dell, and other hardware and software patches across servers, desktops, laptops, tablets, and accessories.Report on software deployment status, installed versions, and patch levels.Monitor Microsoft AppLocker settings and logs and recommend changes.Monitor Cloud Management Gateway.Coordinate software deployments and upgrades with Desktop Support and IT Systems teams.Support software and hardware lifecycle requirements, including monthly patch reviews.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM).3+ years of experience packaging software for MECM distribution to Windows clients using Bare Metal and Software Center.3+ years of hardware and software patch management experience using MECM and Dell Client System Inventory Agent.2+ years of experience with Microsoft PowerShell.1+ year of experience with each of the following: Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP scopes, and Sites and Services.Associate’s degree or higher.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft AppLocker and Group Policy.Experience with Microsoft Intune.Experience with Microsoft Cloud Management Gateway.Experience with Recast Server and Manage Right Click Tools.
