Job description
Develop and maintain the Master Data Management (MDM) system to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data management best practices and standards.
Perform data analysis and quality checks to identify and resolve any data integrity issues.
Design and implement data integration processes to ensure smooth flow of data between systems.
Create and maintain documentation for MDM processes, procedures, and standards.
Monitor and troubleshoot any system performance or data quality issues.
Develop and implement data governance policies to ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in MDM technology to continuously improve the MDM system.
Train and mentor junior MDM engineers on best practices and standard procedures.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide effective solutions.
Lead and participate in data migration and data cleansing projects.
Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
Develop and maintain data dictionaries and data models.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the MDM system.
Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to provide updates on MDM system performance and progress.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including data privacy and security guidelines.
Attend relevant training and professional development opportunities to stay updated on industry best practices and advancements.
Act as a subject matter expert and provide recommendations and solutions for data-related issues.
Lead and participate in cross-functional projects to improve data management processes.
Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure smooth operation of the MDM system.
