Job description
Key Responsibilities Review and assess risks associated with new and existing third-party software titles and produce detailed documentation. Collect and analyze software documentation, industry statistics, release notes, vulnerability management data, and lifecycle information. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Security teams to align on software deployment strategies and security standards. Document recommendations for approval or denial of software based on evidence and risk analysis. Create deployment packages and custom applications for new software titles, upgrades, and uninstalls. Participate in QA and peer review processes with Operations. Document technical specifications for all new and updated application packages. Manage required and available software deployments using SCCM/MECM. Assess application security vulnerabilities and recommend approved versions for organizational use. Whitelist approved applications through CyberArk EPM. Manage applications in CyberArk, including creating application groups, policies, and setting expiry dates for temporary approvals. Develop PowerShell scripts to customize applications for streamlined deployment. Utilize PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) for deployments via SCCM and Intune. Leverage Windows Hello for Business (WHFB) and provide user support for enrollment issues. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of Windows OS and enterprise application deployment processes. Hands-on experience with SCCM/MECM, InstallShield, CyberArk EPM, and Intune. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and PSADT for automation. Knowledge of application security, vulnerability management, and compliance standards. Familiarity with VMware, SQL databases, and enterprise identity platforms like Microsoft Entra. Excellent documentation skills for technical specifications and risk assessments. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Security). Preferred Qualifications Experience in software lifecycle management and QA processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Windows Hello for Business integration and troubleshooting.
