Job description
Broad expertise in Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft 365, Windows and Linux server infrastructure, Entra ID, network topology, and server operating systems

Responsibilities: Partner with development, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth integration and high performance of our cloud environment
.
Design and deliver scalable, dependable, and secure cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
.
Administer cloud resources such as virtual machines, storage, databases, and networking components
.
Monitor and tune cloud services for performance, uptime, and cost effectiveness
.
Lead planning, design, implementation, documentation, and guidance for Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud services
.
Recommend and document standards for new and existing company systems
.
Oversee our M365 environment, including mail flow and collaboration tools such as email, SharePoint, Dynamics, Teams, and licensing
.
Maintain Active Directory and Entra ID environments, including DHCP, GPO, DNS, and certificate management
.
Track service growth and usage trends and support long-term capacity planning for hardware and software purchases
.
Conduct daily system monitoring to confirm server, application, and service integrity and availability
.
Review system and application logs and ensure scheduled jobs such as backups and sFTP complete successfully
.
Recommend, install, test, and manage servers and software in line with standards and operational needs
.
Protect data integrity through regular backups, recovery procedures, and access-rights verification
.
Securely manage elevated access rights, including Domain Controller, root, and Global Administrator roles
.
Provide technical support to users and desktop support staff
.
Diagnose and resolve escalated hardware, software, and operational issues
.
Work with network staff to ensure integration of web services and network components
.
Review the work of other technical staff and advise leadership on training needs
.
Train selected staff to provide coverage during absences
.
Evaluate and help select new vendors while monitoring the performance of existing vendors
.
Liaise with external vendors and consultants to support infrastructure requirements
.
Support Medfinancial administrative functions as needed
.
Participate in an off-hour support rotation
.
Work with Security and IT teams to implement, update, and test security improvements, including OS patches, security patches, and application updates across server infrastructure
.
Help create, test, and maintain disaster recovery procedures for required services
.
Work with Network staff to install, configure, and ensure close integration of web services, network links, hardware, and peripheral components
.
Stay current on emerging IT tools and best practices
.
Carry out other duties and special projects as assigned
