Job description
In this role, a typical day may include:
• Building the strategy for the endpoint environment, including emerging technology, new technical solutions, software, and hardware based on DIA CIO road maps
• Maintaining DISA-approved WIM and Secure Host Baseline (SHB) including testing and transferring to appropriate enclaves
• Downloading, packaging, and deploying Windows and Office Security Updates
• Developing, implementing, and documenting formal configuration guides as needed
• Developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Group Policy Objects (GPOs) in Microsoft Active Directory (AD) for end user devices, which implement STIG and other device and account controls
• Developing, testing, and deploying desktop images including applications and GPO updates
• Deploying and updating approved packaged applications using PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT)
• Developing technical support documentation for IT equipment and systems as required
Requirements
Detailed knowledge of end user computing environments including Windows 10, Windows 11, Mac OSX, and their supporting infrastructure components such as ActiveDirectory, group policy creation and maintenance, and SCCMExperience with deploying, configuring, and managing enterprise solutions for Windows 10 and 11Experience with Python, PowerShell, and Bash ScriptingFamiliarity with VMware ESXi and VSphere.Familiarity with virtualization network on multiple classifications.Familiarity with Citrix or VMware VDI architecture.Must possess an Active TS/SCI and willingness to obtain and maintain a CI Poly
