Job description
Job Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Assessment & Research: Audit legacy Fortinet configurations; identify critical functionalities; research existing hardware/software dependencies; and troubleshoot unknown Wi‑Fi hardware.
Deployment: Replicate firewall and switching functionality within a new Ubiquiti environment; configure and deploy new switching hardware (12 or 14-port units); and reconfigure physical network layouts.
Operations & Maintenance: Provide specialized Wi‑Fi troubleshooting; manage the decommissioned equipment lifecycle; and collaborate with local Office Managers for site access and onboarding.
Required Skillset:
Advanced expertise in Fortinet (FortiGate) and Ubiquiti platforms.
Proficiency in Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching and configuration.
Proven ability to map and translate firewall rules between different vendors.
Expert-level Wi‑Fi diagnostic skills and strong analytical skills for complex legacy systems.
