An Elite Buy-Side Technology Driven Trading Firm is looking for a highly talented Desktop Engineer with financial services experience to join an elite group in group of individuals.
This team have an unlimited tech budget, promote a great culture and are made up of fantastic like-minded individuals.
Role:
Working closely with other teams to establish highly technical documentationWriting documentation with both technical and non-technical target audiencesInvestigating potential pros and cons of using AI tools to assist with technical writingOpportunities to grow out and lead a team
Skills:
1-3 years of experience as a Desktop Engineer/Systems Administrator within financial services - ideally for a trading firmStrong knowledge of automation e.g. PowerShellGood understanding of the Windows Infrastructure stack (Server, O365, AD)Experience with VMware or Hyper VFamiliarity with storage is a plus (both on-prem and cloud)A Computer Science Degree is heavily advantageous but not essential
