Because this transition is currently dependent on resolving existing identity and Active Directory roadblocks, this engineer must be highly adept at cross-divisional collaboration, specifically partnering with the Networking and Server Division. A primary objective of this contract is to empower, train, and build confidence within the DII team to ensure seamless, long-term Tier 3 support once the contract concludes.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Design & Deployment: Architect, configure, and stand up Microsoft Intune for enterprise-scale endpoint management, transitioning away from our legacy Ivanti environment.
Customer Experience Optimization: Implement industry best practices for the end-user customer experience, ensuring that device provisioning (Windows Autopilot), application delivery, and daily usage are seamless, intuitive, and minimally disruptive for all district staff and students.
Cross-Divisional Troubleshooting: Collaborate closely with the Networking and Server Division to remediate current Identity/Active Directory roadblocks impeding the Intune rollout.
Endpoint Configuration: Develop and test configuration profiles, compliance policies, conditional access policies, and application deployment strategies.
Migration Strategy: Plan and execute a phased migration of district devices (laptops and desktops) from Ivanti to Intune with a focus on zer
