Endpoint Platform Engineer (IGEL / Workspace ONE / Linux)

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Support Linux-based endpoint environments, including thin client operating systemsManage and troubleshoot IGEL thin client platforms at enterprise scaleSupport Workspace ONE (Omnissa) for endpoint management and policy enforcementTroubleshoot OS-level, endpoint, and configuration-related issuesTroubleshoot hardware issues across laptops, desktops, thin clients, and peripherals, including firmware-level diagnosticsAssist with platform rollout, upgrades, and environment stabilization effortsDocument platform standards, configurations, and operational proceduresCollaborate with EUC, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and maintain platform performanceRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience supporting endpoint or desktop environments in enterprise settingsHands-on experience with IGEL or similar thin client platformsWorking knowledge of Linux (endpoint-level, not server-heavy administration)Strong hardware troubleshooting experience across enterprise endpoint devices (laptops, desktops, thin clients)Experience with Workspace ONE / AirWatch (Omnissa) or similar MDM platformsStrong troubleshooting skills across endpoint and OS-level issuesExperience working in fast-paced, large-scale environments
