Life-Science Innovations has a full-time opportunity for a Sr. End User Computing Engineer / Telecommunication Engineer to join their team. This position leads the strategy, management, security, and modernization of the organization’s endpoint environment, including workstations, mobile devices, endpoint tools, and user technology services. This role focuses on advancing endpoint management through technologies such as Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Endpoint Central, patching, encryption, compliance, application deployment, and endpoint security. Working closely with IT teams, vendors, and business partners, this position develops secure, scalable, and supportable solutions that improve device governance, lifecycle management, and the overall end-user technology experience, while also supporting select telecom and Teams Phone responsibilities.
This role requires more than deep endpoint engineering expertise. The successful candidate will also serve as a trusted technology partner to employees and leaders across multiple businesses and operating environments. This person must be comfortable translating between nontechnical users, technical teams, IT leadership, vendors, and executive leadership, and independently owning problems from initial business need through technical solution, implementation, communication, and support.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serve as the senior technical owner for endpoint management platforms, standards, and processes across workstations and mobile devicesDesign, implement, and optimize endpoint management using Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Endpoint Central, Entra ID, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365Establish and maintain device provisioning standards, configuration baselines, compliance policies, and workstation lifecycle processesLead Windows upgrades, device replacements, application deployment, patching, enrollment, and advanced endpoint troubleshootingStrengthen endpoint security through BitLocker, device hardening, vulnerability remediation, compliance, and CIS-aligned configurationsOwn technology problems end-to-end, from an initially unclear business need through technical evaluation, implementation, communication, and support, coordinating across endpoint, systems, network, security, service desk, and vendors as neededEvaluate and recommend technology solutions by balancing security, usability, supportability, cost, business impact, and risk, and communicate those tradeoffs clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholdersDevelop and maintain technical documentation, standards, processes, and support procedures to create a consistent, scalable environmentServe as a trusted technology partner across our affiliated businesses and operating locations, translating needs between frontline employees, business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and executive leadership into practical, secure, and supportable solutionsSupport select telecom and Teams Phone services, including cellular devices, phones, conference room technology, carriers, and vendorsParticipate in IT projects, change management, ITSM processes, and cross-functional initiatives impacting end-user technology
The ideal candidate will have the following educational and experience background:
8+ years of progressive IT experience with significant experience in endpoint administration, desktop engineering, systems administration, or related rolesExperience managing Windows endpoints and endpoint management platforms, including Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, SCCM/Endpoint Configuration Manager, Endpoint Central, or similarStrong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, networking, and end-user technologiesStrong understanding of endpoint security, including encryption, vulnerability remediation, device compliance, configuration baselines, conditional access, and least-privilege principlesDemonstrated ability to operate at a senior technical level, making sound decisions, evaluating risk, and balancing security, usability, scalability, supportability, and costExperience developing and maintaining endpoint standards, processes, device provisioning, application deployment, patching, compliance, and workstation lifecycle managementStrong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills, with the ability to resolve complex endpoint and user technology issuesExcellent communication, documentation, organization, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with IT teams, vendors, business leaders, and end usersAbility to work independently, identify risks and opportunities, make recommendations, and translate business needs into practical, secure, and supportable technology solutionsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experienceMicrosoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate or similar certification preferred

Work Location and Travel:
Hybrid position within driving distance of Willmar, MNMinimum of two days per week onsiteRegular onsite engagement with local customers is expected, including recurring 1:1s, site visits, and project/support coordinationOccasional travel to other company locations may be requiredSome locations may include office, production, farm, hatchery, or field environments with exposure to dust, dirt, noise, temperature variation, and other normal site conditions
Pay: $98,000 - $122,500 Annually
