Position Overview
As the Lead Platforms Engineer, you will play a key role in the strategic design, deployment, and optimization of our complex infrastructure platforms and systems. Your expertise will ensure high availability, scalability, and security for our digital workplace and AI initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include managing the entire lifecycle of AI agents and automation, from intake to governance, monitoring, and retirement in production environments. You will focus on delivering valuable AI insights and reports on productivity improvements, risk assessments, and cost optimization to our leadership and business stakeholders.
You will also lead advanced troubleshooting, performance tuning, and technical support, serving as the primary escalation point for complex issues, while driving continuous improvement across teams. Additionally, you will oversee resiliency, disaster recovery, backup strategies, develop comprehensive reporting frameworks, and maintain compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Moreover, this position involves designing and implementing secure, enterprise-grade low-code applications, ensuring robust protection measures are in place for regulated and sensitive data.
You will also promote a culture of knowledge sharing by mentoring junior engineers, organizing training sessions, and encouraging cross-functional collaboration to enhance documentation and information sharing.
Key Responsibilities
Identify performance bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to optimize platform and system performance and resource utilization.Enhance troubleshooting procedures and minimize downtime while leading technical support activities and advanced system tuning.Participate in disaster recovery planning, leading recovery design and testing.Analyze performance and utilization data for Power Platform, Copilot Studio, AI agents, and recommend optimizations for efficiency and reliability.Develop troubleshooting procedures and operational runbooks for AI agents and automation, serving as an escalation point.Create and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base, including guides and documentation, while fostering knowledge sharing through mentoring and training.Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.Five or more years of relevant experience.Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Agents, Azure Services) in enterprise environments preferred.Experience with applying automation design patterns and operational support for platforms preferred.Familiarity with environment strategies and application lifecycle management for low-code platforms preferred.Experience managing security and access controls within Microsoft 365 and Power Platform preferred.Required Skills
