MDM Engineer

Job description

The role will focus on integrating data from ERP, CRM, and other enterprise source systems, configuring MDM workflows, improving data quality, managing golden records, and supporting cloud data lake/lakehouse integrations.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, and support MDM solutions across multiple business data domains.Develop data integration pipelines using Python, REST APIs, JSON, and ETL technologies.Integrate MDM platforms with ERP, CRM, field service, and other source systems.Perform data profiling, cleansing, normalization, deduplication, and validation.Work with entity resolution, record linkage, and matching algorithms.Configure and maintain golden records, survivorship rules, attribute mappings, and data quality rules.Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot integration and production issues.Support MDM integration with Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Delta Lake, or other cloud data platforms.Collaborate with data engineers, data governance teams, and business stakeholders.Document data flows, integration specifications, architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.Support MDM platform upgrades, configuration changes, and production operations.Monitor data quality and matching performance and assist with model/rule tuning.Required Skills5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, MDM, or Data Integration2+ years of enterprise MDM experienceExperience with Tamr, Reltio, Informatica MDM, or similar MDM platformsStrong Python programming skillsExperience with REST APIs and JSONStrong knowledge of ETL/Data IntegrationExperience with Entity Resolution, Record Linkage, DeduplicationExperience with Golden Records and SurvivorshipStrong SQL and data transformation skillsExperience integrating multiple enterprise source systemsUnderstanding of data quality and data governance conceptsStrong documentation and troubleshooting skillsPreferred SkillsTamr MDMAzure Data Lake / Azure DatabricksDelta Lake / LakehouseMachine Learning / ML-based matchingActive Learning / Human-in-the-Loop workflowsInformatica MDM MultidomainReltioManufacturing, distribution, or field-service data experienceMulti-domain MDM and relationship/hierarchy management
