Job description
the IT Manager and plays a key part in maintaining reliable, secure, and efficient technology systems across the organization. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Manage the full lifecycle of endpoint devices, including deployment, configuration, updates, and ongoing maintenance through modern device management tools such as Intune, SCCM, or Endpoint Central Oversee operating system imaging, patching, and updates for Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms Support security standards by enforcing endpoint security policies including encryption, antivirus, and vulnerability remediation Monitor device compliance related to internal standards and regulatory requirements Develop scripts and workflows that automate provisioning and ongoing system upkeep Monitor endpoint health and performance and implement optimizations to maintain high reliability Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for endpoint issues and collaborate closely with help desk staff on escalated incidents Work with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges across the organization REQUIREMENTS: Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear support and collaborate across departments Strong customer service mindset with the ability to work under pressure while remaining organized and detail focused Advanced problem solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex technical issues Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information Solid understanding of networking and systems hardware and software or the ability to learn quickly Ability to manage time effectively and work with minimal supervision Must have a valid Alaska driver license and reliable insured transportation Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and access roofs, pits, attics, and similar environments as needed Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, and lift up to fifteen pounds Comfortable working at multiple onsite locations and occasionally outside of standard hours High school diploma or equivalent required BENEFITS: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, paid time off, and additional employer provided perks.
