Endpoint Engineer

Job description

The ideal candidate combines hands-on Windows imaging and provisioning experience with strong troubleshooting skills, customer service, and the ability to coordinate endpoint support activities in a business-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Re-provision, reimage, and configure Windows desktop and laptop endpoints for enterprise use.
• Enroll and re-enroll Windows devices in Microsoft Intune and troubleshoot device enrollment issues.
• Support endpoint deployment workflows, including device setup, configuration, compatibility checks, and readiness validation.
• Diagnose and resolve Windows operating system, hardware, application, and endpoint configuration issues.
• Assist with endpoint security configurations, application installation, upgrades, and device compliance troubleshooting.
• Evaluate IT service requests, prioritize workload, coordinate case resolution, and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Collaborate with onsite support teams and other IT groups to complete endpoint refresh and deployment projects.
• Document provisioning procedures, troubleshooting steps, and device support activities.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for Windows endpoint management, enrollment, or device troubleshooting.
• Practical experience imaging, reimaging, provisioning, or deploying Windows desktop and laptop computers.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, endpoint configuration, hardware troubleshooting, and application installation.
• Experience diagnosing device setup, operating system, driver, compatibility, and software issues.
• Understanding of endpoint security principles, device configuration policies, and enterprise IT support processes.
• Strong communication, customer service, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Autopilot, Intune enrollment workflows, or automated endpoint provisioning.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), device join types, and corporate device identity.
• Experience with endpoint imaging or deployment tools such as Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), MDT, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of device compliance policies, configuration profiles, application deployment, and endpoint security controls.
• Experience supporting enterprise endpoint refreshes, device migrations, or large-scale PC deployment initiatives.
