Responsibilities
Develop and implement engineering solutions for the desktop environmentLead and manage technical projects from conception to completionPackages application deployments for end-user environment using VMware AppStacks and similar technologiesCreate technical specifications and architectural designs for complex solutionsEstablish technical standards, best practices, and design patterns for the teamPreserves end user profile settings virtual desktop environmentsTroubleshoots application installation, performance, and runtime issues within the desktop environmentsMaintain and oversee Operating System base builds to include feature updates, software updates, and/or vulnerability remediationMeet with Business, IT and Security Leaders to develop requirements and communicate changes to the environment
