The role calls for a hands-on technical leader who can drive infrastructure maturity, strengthen operational resilience, and provide expert guidance on complex platform issues.Responsibilities:• Design and manage enterprise infrastructure spanning on-premises platforms, Azure Government, and government cloud environments to ensure stability, scalability, and compliance.• Establish and uphold technical standards for servers, storage, networking, identity, and security across hybrid systems.• Lead modernization efforts that advance cloud adoption, streamline platform consistency, and move workloads into approved environments.• Serve as the senior escalation resource for high-impact infrastructure, platform, and security incidents requiring deep technical analysis.• Provide coaching and technical direction to less experienced engineers while promoting strong operational practices across IT teams.• Administer Microsoft 365 government environments, including collaboration, endpoint management, messaging, and security capabilities.• Manage Azure Government services covering compute, networking, identity, policy enforcement, and security configuration.• Support Nutanix-based infrastructure and Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and hybrid identity integration with Microsoft Entra ID.• Maintain secure network services such as firewalls, switching, wireless connectivity, and VPN solutions while advancing segmentation strategies for regulated environments.• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, resilience testing, audit support, vulnerability remediation, and documentation needed for compliance and operational readiness.
