Job description
This is a senior-level opportunity for an EUC or Workplace Engineering professional with strong experience across endpoint management, modern device management, VDI/DaaS, identity integration, digital employee experience, and automation. You will work closely with Infrastructure, Security, Identity, Network, Service Desk, and business teams to build secure, scalable, and high-performing end-user computing services.
Key Responsibilities EUC Strategy & Architecture
Define and maintain the enterprise EUC architecture and modernization roadmap.Develop strategies across endpoint management, virtual desktops, mobility, collaboration, and digital employee experience.Lead modernization efforts across Windows, macOS, mobile, and virtual desktop environments.Establish architecture standards focused on security, scalability, manageability, and user experience.Align EUC architecture with Identity, Security, Network, and Cloud strategies.
Modern Workplace Transformation
Lead enterprise initiatives involving device lifecycle modernization and zero-touch provisioning.Support UEM modernization and migration initiatives such as SCCM to Microsoft Intune and co-management.Optimize VDI/DaaS environments including Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, and VMware Horizon.Enable secure and reliable hybrid-work capabilities.Improve digital employee experience through telemetry, analytics, automation, and performance monitoring.
Endpoint & Platform Engineering
Architect and govern endpoint management platforms including:Microsoft Intune / Endpoint ManagerSCCM / Configuration ManagerJamf and macOS management platformsEstablish standards for OS builds, patching, application deployment, configuration, and compliance.Develop automation using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Python, and orchestration frameworks.Support modern device management and endpoint lifecycle strategies. Identity, Security & Compliance
Partner with Identity and Security teams to integrate EUC platforms with enterprise security standards.Support Zero Trust, Conditional Access, device posture, MFA, SSO, and endpoint security initiatives.Integrate endpoint environments with Microsoft Azure AD / Entra ID.Support Defender and EDR/XDR integration.Ensure EUC services align with regulatory, security, and data protection requirements.
Application Delivery & Digital Experience
Architect application delivery across native, virtualized, and SaaS environments.Improve application performance and overall user experience.Develop self-service capabilities through modern application catalogs and automation.Use digital experience data and endpoint telemetry to identify and address user-impacting issues.
Governance & Operational Excellence
Define EUC operating models, governance frameworks, and service standards.Establish and monitor KPIs covering:Device healthPatch complianceUser experienceService performanceDrive automation, continuous improvement, and cost optimization.Establish technical standards and best practices across EUC services. Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
Work with Infrastructure, Security, Service Desk, and business stakeholders to align EUC initiatives with organizational objectives.Translate technical architecture and modernization plans into measurable business outcomes.Lead technical design reviews and mentor engineering teams.Communicate architecture decisions, risks, dependencies, and roadmap progress to leadership.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.10+ years of experience in End User Computing, Workplace Engineering, Infrastructure Architecture, or a related discipline.Strong enterprise experience with:Microsoft Intune / Endpoint ManagerSCCM / Configuration ManagerJamfAzure Virtual DesktopCitrixVMware HorizonAzure AD / Microsoft Entra IDProven experience leading enterprise-scale EUC transformation and modernization programs.Strong understanding of:Modern device management and co-managementOS lifecycle and patch managementEndpoint compliance and configurationDigital workplace technologiesUser experience optimizationIdentity and security integrationStrong architectural and analytical capabilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to connect technical decisions to business objectives and measurable outcomes.
