Job description
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite desktop support for Windows-based end-user environments.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues for laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices.
Deliver IMAC services (Install, Move, Add, and Change) and deskside support activities.
Perform hardware break/fix and software troubleshooting for end-user devices.
Support
Microsoft Office
,
Outlook
, remote support tools, and enterprise collaboration platforms.
Deploy, configure, and maintain desktop devices throughout their lifecycle.
Manage software deployments, updates, patching, and inventory using
SCCM
and
Microsoft Intune
.
Troubleshoot issues related to
SCCM
, device management, and endpoint compliance.
Monitor endpoint security, antivirus status, and adherence to corporate security standards.
Support
printer
and
scanner
installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Ensure devices are deployed with approved desktop images and configurations.
Work within ServiceNow or similar
ITSM
platforms to manage incidents, requests, and service activities.
Provide VIP and executive-level support when required.
Act as the local IT point of contact and coordinate with remote support teams and infrastructure teams.
Identify recurring technical issues and recommend process improvements, user training opportunities, or automation initiatives.
Assist with inventory management, reporting, and documentation of IT assets.
Required Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in Desktop Support, End User Computing, Field Services, or Deskside Support roles.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Experience supporting desktop and laptop hardware in a corporate environment.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar service management tools.
Experience with Microsoft SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) and Microsoft Intune.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and remote support technologies.
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently in an onsite enterprise environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting
Active Directory
user and
device administration
.
Familiarity with VPN connectivity troubleshooting.
Experience supporting mobile devices, tablets, and BYOD environments.
Knowledge of Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business or similar collaboration tools.
Experience providing Smart Hands & Eyes support for remote infrastructure teams.
Exposure to macOS device support.
