Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Desktop Engineer located in Noblesville, IN. The Senior Desktop Engineer role will be responsible for the day-to-day management and support of SMC\'s

endpoints. to keep our systems secure, updated, and running smoothly

Qualifications

Provides support for current and future desktops, laptops and mobile devices

Serve as a point of escalation for end point compute environment (physical computers and mobile devices)

Lead regular patching and upgrading SMC’s computers and mobile devices using device management tools to deliver software packages & updates

Follow SMC IT security policies, procedures and, established standards

Adhere to SMC’s IT change control (enablement) process

Lead continuous improvement efforts around the end point management and support processes

Lead the discovery of metrics to report on end point compute environment performance and effectiveness

Work with the Infrastructure and Operations teams supporting initiatives to automate processes

All other duties as assigned
