Job description
This is an engineering role—not simply an alert-monitoring position. We are looking for someone who has administered, configured, troubleshot, optimized, and supported enterprise security technologies and can take ownership of security platforms in a large environment.
What You'll Do
Administer, configure, support, and optimize CrowdStrike and endpoint security technologies.Manage endpoint detection and response capabilities across a large enterprise environment.Troubleshoot security agents, policies, configurations, integrations, and platform issues.Investigate complex security events and participate in incident response and recovery.Identify threats, vulnerabilities, configuration weaknesses, and opportunities to strengthen endpoint protection.Tune security controls to improve detection while reducing unnecessary noise.Automate security operations and repeatable engineering processes where possible.Support vulnerability identification and remediation.Design and implement security controls across endpoints, servers, applications, cloud, and enterprise infrastructure.Manage and support multiple enterprise security applications.Work closely with Security Operations, Infrastructure, Cloud, IAM, Networking, and application teams.Participate in security projects, technology implementations, upgrades, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.Support security standards and regulatory requirements including HIPAA and NIST.Participate in an on-call rotation.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience at the Security Analyst or Security Engineer level.Strong hands-on CrowdStrike experience is required for this opening.Experience administering and supporting enterprise EDR/XDR or endpoint protection technologies.Strong security incident investigation and troubleshooting skills.Experience with vulnerability management, threat detection, incident response, and security operations.Understanding of Windows, server, network, application, identity, and cloud security controls.Experience owning or administering enterprise security applications—not simply consuming alerts from them.Ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical security problems.Strong communication and documentation skills.Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education, experience, and relevant security certifications.Advanced cybersecurity certification is a plus.
Healthcare or other highly regulated enterprise experience is strongly preferred.
