Job description
📝 Rquirements:
- We are looking for a high school diploma or GED, along with three to five years of related desktop administration experience.
- We need strong technical troubleshooting skills and hands-on knowledge of Windows 11, macOS, and Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and OneDrive.
- Experience supporting collaboration and conferencing tools like Zoom and Microsoft Teams is required.
- We require practical experience with ticketing platforms such as Ivanti or ServiceNow, remote support tools like Ivanti Neurons or TeamViewer, and endpoint management solutions including Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
- A solid working understanding of Active Directory for user and device administration is expected.
- Familiarity with device encryption, basic network troubleshooting, software deployment, firmware updates, and secure imaging practices is highly preferred.
- Exposure to PowerShell scripting and automation tools is an advantage.
- A valid drivers license is required because of occasional travel and on-site support.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are preferred.
- ITIL Foundation or Jamf 200 certifications are considered a plus.
- Additional training in networking or security, such as CompTIA Network+ or Security+, is beneficial.
👩💻👨💻 Your responsibilities are:
- We provide Tier 1-2 help desk support in a large enterprise environment serving more than 6,000 users.
- We respond to support tickets and service requests through phone, ticketing, and remote collaboration tools.
- We support both remote and in-office users and work to resolve issues within SLA targets.
- We assist with desktop software deployments, imaging, application installations, and patching.
- We help maintain hardware assets, inventory records, spare-parts logs, and work logs.
- We support end-user onboarding, workstation setups, office moves, and hardware swaps.
- We install, troubleshoot, and maintain desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and related equipment.
- We conduct testing and assist with general lab work.
- We diagnose and repair hardware failures and replace parts when needed.
- We occasionally help system administrators, network administrators, and infrastructure team members with more complex technical tasks, including hardware and networking support.
- We maintain current BIOS, firmware, and software versions on end-user systems.
- We support system backups, recovery, and new software installations.
- We participate in on-call rotations as needed.
- We mentor and coach team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and cross-training.
- We troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for executive-level employees with professionalism and urgency.
- We follow information systems policies and controls to support data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.
- We assist with additional projects and other duties as assigned.
