Job description
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, administer, and maintain Jamf Pro environments.
Manage Apple devices including macOS, iOS, and iPadOS using Jamf.
Develop and maintain device enrollment, configuration profiles, policies, restrictions, and compliance settings.
Manage application deployment, patching, software distribution, and OS updates through Jamf.
Implement and troubleshoot Apple Automated Device Enrollment (ADE) and device provisioning workflows.
Integrate Jamf with Apple Business Manager (ABM) and enterprise identity/security platforms.
Develop and maintain Jamf policies, scripts, extension attributes, and smart groups.
Automate endpoint management tasks using Bash, shell scripting, or related technologies.
Monitor device compliance, inventory, security posture, and endpoint health.
Troubleshoot macOS and Jamf-related incidents and provide production support.
Support endpoint security, encryption, certificates, authentication, and access management requirements.
Participate in Jamf upgrades, migrations, integrations, and environment improvements.
Collaborate with IT, Security, Infrastructure, Service Desk, and other technical teams.
Document configurations, processes, troubleshooting procedures, and technical solutions.
Follow ITIL, Agile, change-management, and enterprise SDLC processes where applicable.
Required Skills
5+ years of professional experience in Jamf / Apple endpoint management.
Jamf 400 certification is required.
Strong hands-on experience with Jamf Pro.
Strong knowledge of macOS administration and troubleshooting.
Experience managing Apple devices through Apple Business Manager (ABM).
Strong experience with Automated Device Enrollment (ADE).
Experience creating Jamf policies, configuration profiles, smart groups, and extension attributes.
Hands-on experience with application deployment and software patch management.
Experience with Bash/shell scripting and endpoint automation.
Knowledge of macOS security, FileVault, certificates, and endpoint compliance.
Experience with device inventory, reporting, and troubleshooting in Jamf.
Understanding of enterprise endpoint management and security best practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Frisco, TX.
