End User Computing Engineer

Job description

This is a fast-paced role where you will work directly with senior stakeholders, traders and quants so the successful applicant should have excellent communication skills and be a good problem solver to be considered a good fit. You will be responsible for providing support for end user hardware and devices as well as monitoring systems and automating reoccurring issues at every given opportunity.

Key Requirements

2+ years of experience working in an End User Support role within the financial markets space (experience supporting PM's, Quants and Traders is preferred)In depth knowledge of Microsoft desktop technologies and strong experience troubleshooting mobile and laptop devicesExperience building and implementing new desktop and infrastructure solutions and strong engineering mindset; this is not a pure support roleStrong scripting skills with Powershell, Python or similarExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially when documenting issues and resolving tickets
