Job description
This individual will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for designing, implementing, administering, and optimizing infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. Although the position includes traditional infrastructure responsibilities—including virtualization, Windows Server, backup, and Citrix—Microsoft Azure will be the primary focus. The engineer will lead cloud initiatives, support infrastructure modernization, and collaborate with Architecture, Security, Networking, Application, and global IT teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, administer, and optimize Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments. Serve as a subject-matter expert for Azure architecture, governance, security, automation, and operational best practices. Lead Azure migrations, cloud modernization programs, and infrastructure transformation projects. Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), and System Center Operations Manager (SCOM). Support VMware vSphere and ESXi environments hosting business-critical workloads. Administer Cisco HyperFlex and Cisco UCS infrastructure. Manage enterprise backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery solutions using Cohesity or comparable platforms. Admin
