Information Technology Operations Engineer

Job description

You’ll be responsible for endpoint provisioning, user onboarding, identity and access management, helpdesk support, and ensuring employees have everything they need to work effectively. Working closely with software and hardware engineering teams, you’ll help build a scalable IT function capable of supporting the company's continued growth.

Key Experience Needed Commercial experience within IT Support, Helpdesk or Systems Administration Strong experience supporting Windows, macOS and Linux environments Experience with identity platforms such as Entra ID, Okta or Google Workspace Good understanding of SSO and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Comfortable troubleshooting via the command line and supporting basic networking issues Experience with shell scripting or IT automation Strong customer service and communication skills Experience with Intune, Jamf or endpoint management tools (desirable) Exposure to Ansible or infrastructure automation (desirable) Experience supporting software engineering or technical development teams (desirable) Key Responsibilities Own day-to-day IT support for both office-based and remote employees Provision, configure and maintain laptops, workstations and endpoints Manage user onboarding, offboarding and account administration Support identity management, authentication and access requests Troubleshoot Windows, macOS and Linux environments Develop and improve onboarding automation and IT workflows Use AI-assisted tooling to improve support processes and self-service capabilities Maintain endpoint security and device management best practices Work closely with engineering teams to deliver reliable IT services Continuously identify opportunities to improve the overall employee IT experience IT Operations Engineer Contract Length: 3-month duration (likely to extend)
