Scope of Project:

DSS has a constant increased need for the provision of full systems life cycle applications development on various computer platforms, including a variety of client eligibility and recertification systems, employment/work engagement services, claims systems, etc., that are critical to the operation and functioning of DSS programs, requiring periodic refinements to maintain the applications at optimum service levels. Having a project portfolio which properly reflects the user’s business needs and DSS’ workload is crucial. Therefore, there is a need for IT consulting resources for the expanding responsibilities at DSS.

Responsibilities:

Project Management and CoordinationDefine project scope, objectives, and deliverablesDevelop and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestonesIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risksTeam Leadership and CommunicationProvide daily oversight to internal teams and external consultantsCoordinate project activities and track progress across workstreamsDeliver regular status updates to management and stakeholdersMobile Device Deployment and SupportOversee deployment and lifecycle management of mobile devicesCoordinate device upgrades, replacements, and decommissioningEnsure compliance with security standards, including encryption and antivirusSystems Management and Process ImprovementManage MDM platforms such as Workspace ONE and IntuneTroubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with IT teams and vendorsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency

Required/Preferred Skills:

A minimum of 2 years of experience with the following skill sets:

Proven ability to manage complex IT projects end-to-end, including scope definition, planning, scheduling, risk management, and successful delivery within timelines.Hands-on experience managing large-scale mobile environments using MDM platforms such as Workspace ONE and Intune, including deployment, configuration, security, and lifecycle management.Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with internal staff and external vendors, and provide clear status reporting to management and stakeholders.Expertise in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, ensuring device security (encryption, antivirus), and maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
