Job description
The successful candidate will manage Azure infrastructure and networking services, administer Databricks platforms and security configurations, support Microsoft Fabric environments, and oversee Azure DevOps services including repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and service connections. You will work to maintain platform stability, compliance, and operational excellence while enabling efficient data and application delivery across the organization.
**Tasks:**
- Administer and maintain Azure platform services and cloud infrastructure.
- Configure and manage Azure networking components, including VNets, Subnets, Private Endpoints, and DNS services.
- Support Azure subscription governance, security controls, and platform compliance requirements.
- Manage Azure RBAC permissions and identity integrations.
- Administer Azure Web Apps, Storage Accounts, App Registrations, and Azure Data Factory services.
- Configure and maintain Databricks environments, including platform settings, security controls, and access management.
- Manage Databricks permissions, compute resources, and workspace configuration.
- Administer Unity Catalog and support data governance and access control requirements.
- Configure network integration and external data access within Databricks environments.
- Support Microsoft Fabric administration, including access management, workspace deployment, capacity management, and gateway configuration.
- Enable and maintain data integrations across Microsoft Fabric and related platforms.
- Administer Azure DevOps environments, including repositories, security settings, service connections, and agent pools.
- Build, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Monitor platform operations and ensure reliability, security, and scalability across cloud and data services.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, engineering, analytics, and operations teams to support platform adoption and continuous improvement.
**Specific Expertise:**
- Strong experience administering Microsoft Azure environments and cloud services.
- Expertise in Azure networking, including VNets, Subnets, Private Endpoints, and DNS.
- Experience with Azure subscription governance, security, and operational management.
- Strong knowledge of Azure RBAC, identity integration, and access management.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Web Apps, Storage Accounts, App Registrations, and Azure Data Factory.
- Proven experience administering Databricks production environments.
- Strong knowledge of Databricks security, permissions, compute management, and platform configuration.
- Experience implementing and managing Unity Catalog.
- Knowledge of Databricks network integration and external data access configurations.
- Experience supporting and administering Microsoft Fabric environments.
- Expertise in Fabric access management, workspace deployment, capacity administration, and gateway configuration.
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps administration.
- Proven expertise in managing repositories, CI/CD pipelines, agent pools, service connections, and DevOps security.
- Strong understanding of cloud platform reliability, scalability, governance, and operational best practices.
**Nice to Have:**
- Experience working across integrated Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure DevOps ecosystems.
- Knowledge of enterprise data platform governance and security best practices.
- Experience supporting large-scale cloud and data platform deployments.
- Exposure to automation and infrastructure standardization initiatives.
