**Job Summary**: Support systems infrastructure by maintaining system configuration, performing system installation, and enforcing system standards. Administration of physical and virtualized systems: System support, troubleshooting system, application, network and client operating system security, vulnerability remediation, network and system performance optimization, client machine imaging and lifecycle, system monitoring and high availability, automation, and other client and server tasks. Maintain quality documentation for compliance, configuration, inventory, disaster recovery, and security purposes. Contribute to and lead enterprise technology related implementations and projects. Have and maintain a high level of professional ethics.
**Essential Functions**:
- Operation of controls on a timely basis and drive continuous process improvement at all levels.
- Documents policies, operating standards and procedures for IT processes identified or specified.
- Secures physical and virtual clients/servers by following and enforcing policies, verifying and monitoring access.
- Assists in set up, configuration, and supports internal and external systems and network and client operating systems as appropriate.
- Maintains all systems, infrastructure applications, security, and network and client operating systems configurations.
- Troubleshoots system performance issues, develops and implements technical solutions related to infrastructure applications, software and other corporate systems.
- Ensures issues are tracked and resolved in a timely fashion.
- Provides support during business and non-business hours.
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Manages the performance of multiple hardware and software platforms.
- Provides Level 2 data and/or telecommunication support for team members and end-users and appropriately communicates the actions to resolve issues; contacts the appropriate vendor for service when a problem cannot be resolved.
- Maintains documentation for the systems, infrastructure applications, security, network and client operating system design, layout, and connectivity.
- Maximizes systems performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with team on network optimization.
- Maintains information technology operational information, system utilization logs, policies, procedures, standards and other department documentation as appropriate.
- Communicates effectively with other members of the department; participates in department meetings, projects, and functions; suggests methods for improvement of departmental procedures
- Follows change management requests procedures for all changes in production infrastructure.
- Maintains confidentiality of all sensitive Bank information.

- Provides enthusiastic, professional, and courteous service to Southside Bank customers and employees.

- Responsible for complying with audit policies and procedures as they pertain to this position.
- Performs duties in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and related anti-money laundering laws, and in accordance with the Bank’s Information Security Program.

**Additional Functions:**
- Participates in special projects as assigned.
- Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
- Performs additional duties, as assigned or directed.
**Required Education/Experience**:
- Associate’s degree in computer or business-related field or equivalent education or experience.
- Minimum one (1) year in systems infrastructure field with medium enterprise base preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop experience required, , additional VmWare experience preferred.
- Microsoft, Linux, or VmWare Certification is highly preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft SCCM, Intune, M365, Entra ID required.
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, network backup and recovery, multi-function printers, inventory, anti-virus, lifecycle management, and scripting.
- Understanding of Microsoft and VmWare concepts.
- Extensive hands-on experience with designing, implementing, patching, and configuring client/server automation, imaging, files and print servers.

**Physical Activity/Dexterity:**
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with fingers. Works with fingers and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
- Ability to occasionally lift boxes and equipment of up to 20 pounds.
**Physical Environment Demands:**
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to visit other offices, conference rooms, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and telephone.
- Constantly positions self to operate on a computer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with other people throughout each day. Must be able to exchange accurate information when conversing.
**Working Conditions/Infrastructure:**
- Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
- Moderate noise (e.g. business office with computers and printers, light traffic).
**Work Schedule/Hours:**
- Monday through Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm.
- Available for overtime, as needed.
